Boo-Boo, Boo-Hoo

Mommy and Daddy had to take me to the vet on Saturday because I have an owie on my foot. I think the vet was in a bad mood. She sure let me have it. After wrapping my foot (and making me look even cuter I think) she told me I need to loose 15 lbs. I don't know what she's talking about I only weight a skinny 106 lbs. I guess I'll have to cut out some chocolate cookies (dad too I think!). Then after poking me twice with a needle and sticking something up my backend I don't even want to think about she said I'm pretty sick. Seems I have hook worms and heart worms. I told you it wasn't a good day. Good news is I'm young and will get good treatment and be fine in no time. With all this stress I think I need those extra cookies! Don't you agree???

Another June Birthday!!

I was all smiles for my b-day. Only one more year until the BIG 5-0! I know, I know I look somewhere between 15 and 100. At least that's what the kids in my class said. haha

Patrice and Al gave me balloons for my birthday. I haven't had balloons in a long time.

I couldn't have opened all my presents without Belle and Dave's help. What sweet dogs they are.

Pat loved my spice cake (thanks Wendy!). Doesn't he look happy??

I knew he would want a strawberry to go with the cake. Does he remind you of someone else in the family? Thanks to my whole family for making the day very special. I love you all very much.

Man In Heaven

Pat got the night started with a cool one or two (or three)!

Then it was time for presents. Could this be FOOD!!! Dave seems to think so. I think even he notices a pattern of cookies and candy for daddy on special occasions.

He got a new game for his Wii. Call of Duty. And the best part was...

He got a new gun to go with it. I think I've created a monster!!!! But we all love you anyway.

Patrice had a great b-day.

Al took her out to dinner and then I took her out so he could come over and decorate the house. He did everything in her favorite color. PURPLE!
He even made the cake purple. Yes you read right HE made the cake. All by himself. He really is special!

Happy Graduation Anthoni!

Anthoni was all smiles at his 5th grade graduation. It's off to middle school for him next year. He will be spending a month there this summer at a special invatation only learning camp. He is one of a few that scored so high on his TAKS test that they invited him to study there this summer. YOU GO ANTHONI!!!!

Mother's Day

I had a great time just me and my girls. I had a great lunch and they all gave me some great presents and cards. The best part was just spending time together. I was sure lucky to have three great kids.

My Spring Break Project

I took on the task of sanding, staining and varnishing this old chair. Some of you might remember it as being nude color with an mustard yellow cushion. Others might not!:) But I finished (only three weeks after spring break).

Not only does it look good but everyone thinks it's comfy too!

After dinner we had the annual confetti egg bash. And I do mean BASH! It's supposed to be throwing but it never is.

Confetti is everywhere. All these weeks latter it's still there.

Daddy uses this time to inspect Rhiannon's new car. He approved.

No that's not dandruff. It really is confetti.

We had a great time. It was nice to have the whole family together.

By now probably everyone has heard that Al asked Patrice to get married. We are so happy for them. They make a great couple. The pictures of the ring don't do it justice I hope to get a better picture soon. I will have to repost.

Valentine's Day 2008

Pat and I had a wonderful Valentine's Day. He gave me these beautiful earrings and I gave him the Wii that he didn't get for Christmas. He loved it as you can see. I do love that man! THANK YOU BIG WENDY!!!

Happy 11th Birthday Anthoni

Dave showed off his new toy but Anthoni was the man of the day. We had gumbo for dinner and of course CAKE! It was a great ice cream cake from Dairy Queen. Then it was time to open the presents. It was a Guitar Hero birthday just like it was a Guitar Hero Christmas. I can't believe he's 11 already. Congrats!!

A Christmas Quilt
