I'm Back!!

I had a nice trip to Wisconsin. The weather was nice (even though they were hot) and I spent lots of time with my friends and family. We went to the state fair (no pictures but great fun was had!) Then we had Joe's graduation party. Congrats again!

After all the seeing and doing it was time to slow down and take a break. We headed off to Laura's house up north for a relaxing evening by the fire. Thanks for a great fire Scott. We had to cover up not because of cold weather but for the bugs. My favorite!

The next day it was off to see my dad. He's still doing good. We went to lucnh, K-Mart, and out for frozen custard. It was a fun afternoon. As usual time went fast.

I sure miss my dad but it's great to be back!!!

My summer project

This was one of my summer projects. I took an old mirror and sanded and stained it dark and hung it sideways in the living room. Mariah turn you head sideways and think light wood. Does it look like the mirror from your old bedroom set? It is! I saved it just for this project. As you can see at the bottom Dave likes it too.

Girls Day Out!

Patrice, Wendy and I had a great time shoping and eating at the outlet mall with Irma this weekend. We got rained on a little before lunch but that didn't stop us! Oh yeah we enjoyed time with Henry but he was picture shy.

An who says you can't train your man. Look after only 23 1/2 years Pat made the bed for me. Now I just have to get him to put the pillows on top of the blanket! He a work in progress what can I say.

I think the candles say it all. How did I get THIS old??? Ah well at least I know Pat's older. haha I had a great day and thank you to my family near and far for making it a great day. I love you all.

Happy Father's Day

After getting over the shock of finding out he's a father Pat got down to the business of opening his presents. He got cookies, candy, books and CD's. You know the usual. :):) Happy Father's Day Dear!!

Just Because

Dave got three new free toys from PetSmart this week (thanks to the misspelling of Belle's name). You will only see two of them as one was beheaded in two minutes. He loves the other two. He was so happy he sat for this way too cute picture. He's our sweetie!

Happy Birthday Patrice

I know it's late but now you can see all the fun we had. Patrice was dressed in purple (her favorite color) and even the cake was purple.

Some of us had way too much to drink but everyone had fun. What is it with the open mouth? A new thing??

Patrice had so many good friends and family there I can't show them all but, thanks to everyone who made the night very special!

Memorial Day Fun!

What a great time we had at Irma and Henry's. Thanks for putting up with all of us. As you can see Henry put Pat to work right away when we got there cutting tree limbs and cleaning out gutters.

Big Wendy is getting some good advice from Pat. About what we don't know but I'm sure it was good advice. :)

Patrice enjoyed some adult girls time with her favorite Aunt and Grandma/Irma.

The dogs didn't want to be left out so they performed for us too! Belle wins! She can stand on her hind legs without support. Pancho needed a little help standing from his new friend Pat.

The big attraction in the neighborhood was the tin man down the block from Irma's house. See what you can do when you retire!!! I know Pat will do something like this when he retires. hahahahahahaha

Happy Mother's Day #2

How lucky am I! I got to celebrate mother's day twice. Rhiannon took me out to lunch to Cafe Adobe. We had a great time and I really enjoyed the food. Thanks again Rhiannon. The pictures are compliments of her new cell phone. Thanks for the pics too!

Just because it's been a while since you saw them. Belle just got her new summer do and Dave is waiting patiently for the birds and squirels to come into the yard. He knows thier out there somewhere. He's going to be ready when they come!

I DID IT!!

After a very long year of teaching these cuties I graduated. I recieved my certification for completing the Reading Recovery training on Tuesday. The family turned out to cheer me on (we missed you Rhiannon) as I walked across the floor/stage to recieve my certificate. Thanks for helping me so much this year and putting up with my complaining about having to go to school after being in school all day. I love you!

Mother's Day #1

I had a wonderful day thanks to my sweet, sweet children. And Pat too! Pat and I went to Corteo and out to dinner a few weeks ago for my present from him. No I'm not his mother I just mother him allllll the time. Then Patrice gave me a beautiful picture for the living room and Wendy made me a CD of my favorite music. There's more to come next week when Rhiannon takes me out for lunch. I'm stretching Mother's Day for about a month. I love it! Thank you girls for thinking of me and loving me so much. I love you too.

Hoppy Easter #2

The Easter fun continued on to Sunday morning. Pat, Patrice and Wendy had to wait until morning to get their Easter loot (ie. CANDY!). It wasn't quite right this year with Patrice picking out what candy she wanted. I guess she doesn't believe in the Easter Bunny any more!! If you will notice Dave made sure everything was okay for the us to eat. He's even under Pat's arm checking out his kisses. Patrice and Wendy gave Pat and I our own Easter basket with candy, stuffed animals, scratch offs (I was a big winner!) and edible Easter grass. Dave, Buddy and Belle enjoyed eating the grass. They weren't sure what to do with it at first but they got the idea pretty fast.
